Join us for the second of a four-part webinar series, Technologies that Improve the Air We Live In, presented and sponsored by Daikin.
This session will review the core of Daikin’s next-generation solutions, including inverters, heat pumps, and refrigerants and leave with a better understanding of how they enable efficient, electrified heating in residential single-family applications in the Northeast. You will be given an overview of the Lynbrook Design Center just outside of New York City. Daikin opened this, first of its kind, facility in November 2019 with a focus on engaging and educating the community by providing an opportunity to experience first hand the benefits of inverter HVAC equipment.
Phoenix Mechanical will then take attendees on a walk-through of a single-family home installation in Westchester County, NY which primarily uses heat pumps for heating, but maintains the legacy oil-fired heating system as a bcak-up. You will learn about the system design, installation, and controls configuration to balance both the next gen, and old gen heating systems to optimize for cost-efficiency while providing significant environmental benefits.
Finally, we will take a deeper dive into supplemental heating controls. As homes in the Northeast begin to displace legacy fossil fuel heating systems, integrated control of these systems have proven to be important to ensuring ease of use, end-user comfort, and the anticipated energy and greenhouse gas emissions reductions. Daikin will review their One+ technology which enables easy and efficient supplemental heating controls.
