The content of NESEA's programming is driven by volunteer committees of NESEA Members. These committees perform a variety of functions, from selecting projects to be featured in our BuildingEnergy Pro Tour Series to developing conference sessions and selecting speakers. BuildingEnergy Boston Committees

BuildingEnergy Boston Leadership Team
Comprised of two co-chairs, two co-vice-chairs, and NESEA program staff. Provides overall vision for upcoming conference and facilitates the process of content selection. View the conference chair job description here.

Comprised of NESEA Members with a diverse range of professional expertise. This committee is responsible for making final content selection based on peer review of submitted proposals, and for developing proposals into sessions. View the job description here.

BuildingEnergy Magazine Editorial Committee
This group of NESEA Members works with program staff to select articles for publication in BuildingEnergy magazine. They evaluate submissions based on content, style, and fit. They also make recommendations for peer-reviewers. Contact Florence MacGregor at fmacgregor@nesea.org.

BuildingEnergy Bottom Lines Steering Committee
Comprised of group facilitators, a participant representative from each group, and NESEA program staff. This committee is responsible for maintaining the continuity of the program and participant experience, evaluating new initiatives and growth opportunities. BuildingEnergy Pro Tour Advisory Committee

Kate Goldstein Emerging Leader Award Committee
Each spring, members of this committee select one candidate from a nominations submitted by the general membership to receive the Emerging Leader Award. Contact Florence MacGregor at fmacgregor@nesea.org.

Distinguished Service Award Committee
Comprised of previous recipients of the Distinguished Service Award (DSA), this committee is charged with evaluating nominees for and selecting the annual recipient of the DSA. Contact Katie Schendel at kschendel@nesea.org.
