Ken is a recognized national and international leader in Passive House construction. From the earliest Passive House buildings in New York, to the newly completed Cornell Tech tower and buildings from Massachusetts to California, Ken has had a guiding influence on successful Passive House construction.
An architect by professional background, Ken’s work stretches from airtightness detailing, and product specifications, to systems selections, and team building, as well as to education, training and professional network cultivation – he brings a critical eye to the Passive House process from initial design sketches to final commissioning.
As COO and founding partner of 475, Ken takes a leading role in implementing Passive House construction strategies, product selection and technical hands-on training. 475 is a recognized as providing thought leadership and products that enable successful high performance and Passive House projects of all scales and uses.
Ken is a founding board member of New York Passive House, the North American Passive House Network, and Passive House Alliance, as well as a delegate to the International Passive House Association.
