Rheannon is the Energy and Sustainability Specialist for Bensonwood and Unity Homes and is determined to minimize the negative impacts that buildings have on the environment and economy. Her main focus is to ensure that the buildings she studies consumes as little energy as possible, as well as continue to implement the use of products and materials that are healthy and sustainable. Shortly after receiving her Bachelor's degree in Architecture with a special focus in Building Science, she became a certified Building Performance Analyst. She has since completed the NESEA Net Zero Energy Design course instructed by Marc Rosenbaum, as well as become a Certified Passive House Conusltant. Rheannon strives every day to make the world a better and healthier place to live. She has consulted on various Net Zero, LEED, Energy Star and award winning projects, was one of the Runner Ups for the 2015 Kate Goldstein Emerging Professional Award, and is energetically waiting for the rest of the world to be as excited about energy efficiency as she is.
