Ms. Wisse joined New Ecology in October 2012. At New Ecology, Ms. Wisse manages the greening of new construction and existing building projects including certification through rating systems such as: LEED, Enterprise Green Communities, and Energy Star certification; she also helps project’s secure applicable utility rebates, implement renewable energy assets, and increase durability and resiliency. Since joining New Ecology, she has certified hundreds of residential units and commercial spaces, located throughout the Northeast. Ms. Wisse has also taught Construction Management courses at the Wentworth institute of Technology in Boston, MA, her course knowledge includes: Construction Plan Reading, Revit Modeling, Construction Materials and Quality Testing, and Surveying. Ms. Wisse is a LEED AP in the following rating systems: Building Design and Construction, Homes, Neighborhood Development, and Interior Design and Construction as well as a certified Green Rater for the LEED for Homes rating system. She is also an Engineer in Training (EIT-Architectural Engineering), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC). Ms. Wisse received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University (Penn State).
