Lauren Brust Moss is the program director of the NORESCO Sustainability Services New York City office Lauren joined NORESCO after seven years with another New York City-based energy and sustainability consulting firm. As program director of commercial building energy services, Lauren managed a team that provided commissioning energy audit services on more than thirty million square feet of commercial space for both new construction and existing buildings.
Lauren is also a part of the Urban Green Council speakers bureau (an active resource of New York City's U.S. Green Building Council® chapter) for New York City's Local Law 84 and Local Law 87. In this role, she helps building owners and managers understand local laws and achieve compliance with them. In addition, she managed her previous firm's team for the NYSERDA Buildings Outreach program, where she navigated commercial projects through the incentive program for energy-efficiency upgrades.
Lauren is an active member of industry organizations such as Building Owners and Managers Association, and the New York City, Real Estate Board of New York. She earned an undergraduate degree from Columbia University and a Masters in Urban Planning from New York University.
